Bran Castle has a program divided into two seasons. From April 1 to September 30, the castle is open on Mondays from 12:00 to 18:00 (last admission) and from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00 (last admission). From October 1 to March 31, visitors can come on Mondays from 12:00 to 16:00 (last admission) and from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 16:00 (last admission). Prices are as follows:

  • Adults: 70 lei
  • Seniors (+65 years old, on presentation of a document): 50 lei
  • Students (with ID): 40 lei
  • Students: 20 lei
  • Groups of children (minimum 16 persons): 15 lei

4. Predeal

6. Lempeș Hill

8. Zărnești Bear Reserve

It is important to note that this is not a zoo and its aim is to raise awareness of the importance of animal welfare. Children under five are not allowed in the Libearty Zărnești sanctuary for safety reasons.

9. Zărneștiului Rapirs

12. Rakos Volcano, Emerald Lake and Basalt Columns

Located less than 70 km from Brasov, on the road to Sighisoara, the Racoș Volcano welcomes you with an unforgettable landscape. This natural wonder, resembling a lunar crater, offers an exciting experience for the whole family. Children will delight in exploring this fascinating place where nature has created spectacular shapes.

Basalt columns are another amazing geological phenomenon. They rise proudly into the sky, creating a mesmerizing fairytale setting. They were formed 1.3-1.4 million years ago and range from 6-8 meters high.

18. Babele and the Sphinx
