Hidden in rural areas or in the center of crowded cities, mansions and castles with hundreds of years of tradition have opened their gates for those who want to experience bohemian life. We chose 5 mansions that we included in our routes in Romania.
Daniel Castle, Talisoara – Covasna county
Transformed into a 4 * hotel, Daniel Castle was built in the 17th century by the family of the same name. Located 60 km from Brasov, Daniel Castle is a good starting point for day trips to Baile Tusnad and Lake Sfanta Ana, located a few tens of km from the castle.
The castle offers 20 rooms decorated in medieval style, with beautiful wooden furniture and decorations, creating a perfect setting for a bohemian stay. The generous garden with terrace is a delight in summer days. The restaurant’s menu is prepared to the delight of any nobleman, with traditional dishes from Transylvania, accompanied by selected wines, produced by local wineries. The castle SPA is a surprise that we recommend you to try during your stay at the castle.
Haller Castle, Ogra – Mures County

Since 2012 it has been introduced in the tourist circuit as a 4 * hotel with restaurant and wine cellar. Art objects from the time of the family that lived in this castle can be admired in the hotel, offering a medieval atmosphere.
