Beaches that you can visit in autumn

Whoever decided that the summer would be only until August did not ask us if we agreed. Then we would have told him that we want it to always be summer! But until we manage to bring summer to Romania and from September onwards, we headed to southern Europe, where we can sunbathe in the coming months.

San Vito lo Capo Beach, Sicily (Italy)

After the holiday month (August), Italians will be tired of the beach. So there are great chances to find the beaches in Sicily very free. In this area you can sunbathe until late October. San Vito Beach stretches for almost 2 kilometers to Mount Monaco. If you are a hiking enthusiast, you can do a 1 hour and a half route to the top. And from there you can admire Castellammare Bay. The view is fantastic and well worth the effort!

Nerja, Andalusia (Spain)

Nerja looks like a set, only Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant are missing for the picture to be complete. The south of Spain is known for its white roads, the white houses that contrast with the reddish earth and the scattered forests that you will encounter in your excursions.

In Nerja you will also find the Balcony of Europe, a terraced terrace above the Mediterranean Sea. The beach covers an area of almost 16 km, with fine sand and intimate coves. And Cuevas de Nerja might catch your eye. The cave has almost 5 kilometers, of which only a part is visited. The cave is known for the largest stalactite in the world.

Blue Lagoon, Cyprus

The famous bay is the most popular place on the Akamas Peninsula. The beach can only be visited after a boat trip. The water is so clear that you can see the fish and marine life on the surface. The bay is located about 115 km from Limassol.

Playa los Cristianos, Tenerife (Spain)

Spring Island awaits us with high temperatures all year round. And autumn is the best time to visit it. Playa de Los Cristianos is a fine sandy beach, located near the port. The beach is also known for water or water sports. Nearby is the Playa de las Vistas, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. And about Playa de las Americas we don’t have to tell you how beautiful it is. Probably the most famous beach in Tenerife is located near Los Cristianos Beach.

Balos Beach, Crete (Greece)

The southernmost island of Greece is also the warmest. You can visit it until the end of October. Crete has many beaches that will make you fall in love with this island. One of our favorites is Balos Beach, with pink sand and turquoise waters.

The beach is located in the northwestern part of Crete (served by Chania airport), 56 km from Chania and 17 km from Kissamos.
